Wall Decor Magnet Project Instructions

Here's an easy way to decorate any room in just minutes! You choose the décor element and the place on the wall. Then read below for the easiest way to hang the embellishment on the wall.

Supplies Needed:

• Drywall nails 1-1/4 inch,
• Scrapbook embellishments or décor elements of your choice,
• Magnets,
• Hot glue gun, and
• Hammer.

First, start by selecting the embellishment or décor element of your choice and decide where you want to place it. Try to choose a lightweight embellishment that will add character and colour to your room.

Next, glue a magnet to the back of the embellishment. The size of the magnet should be relative to the weight and size of the embellishment. The heavier the embellishment, the larger the magnet should be and vice versa.

Finally, hammer a drywall nail in the wall where you want to place the embellishment. Place the embellishment near the nail so that the magnet will be attracted to the nail and will stay in place.

Not only will the magnets hold your embellishments in place, but you can also move the embellishments around easily to give the room a different look.
