Linen Stitch Dishcloth Project Instructions

Use the linen stitch to create this beautiful dishcloth and see how practical doesn't mean boring!

Supplies Needed:

•  One pair of knitting needles, size 6.5 mm (US 10 1/2);
•  Loops & Threads Impeccable worsted yarn, 128 g/4.5 oz, colour “Rouge”;
•  Scissors; and
•  Plastic darning needle.

 

 

 

 

Instructions:

1.  Cast on 24 stitches.
2.  Row 1: [Knit 1, slip 1, with yarn in front] repeat stitches in brackets 10 times. Knit 2.
3.  Row 2: Purl.
4.  Row 3: Knit 1, [Knit 1, slip 1, with yarn in front] repeat stitches in brackets 10 times. Knit 1.
5.  Row 4: Purl.
6. Repeat Rows 1-4 until dishcloth is 6.5 inches long, or the desired length.
7.  Bind off.
