For
this birthday card, I used paper flowers to decorate the front of the card.
Flowers are perfect for spring or summer birthdays, for someone who loves
flowers, or even for a relative's birthday.
Start by playing with the paper flowers on the card until you are happy with where they are positioned. There are no rules – no rights or wrongs. As long as you like how the paper flowers are arranged, that's all that matters.
For this card, I played with the colours and sizes of the paper flowers. For the 6 smaller flowers, I used 2 light colours and 1 dark colour for each of the two groups. This compliments the larger flowers, which plays with light on dark colours.
Once you have figured out where you want to position the flowers, you then have to attach them to the card. Attach them one at a time, leaving the other flowers on the card, so that you remember where you want them to go.
