This pattern is based on a chimpanzee that I saw in the zoo in Rome, Italy. He came right up to the glass wall to look at all the visitors. Just before he walked away, he put his hand up on the glass wall. Directly on the other side of the glass was someone's hand. It was if they were touching hands! It was a very cute sight to see!
